Really crappy photo, but the best I could do and I got nothing else. It's a photo I found on my cell phone that is now my wallpaper. It's a donkey wearing a sombrero.

I know. I'm easily amused.

BUT ONLY ONE SO YOU BETTER GET IN HERE QUICK

I didn't realize they labeled haunted houses. Makes it easier to know which ones to avoid.
This actually would be a good one, as it's far away from anything in the middle of miles of country in Southwest Michigan. The nearest neighbor is probably 1/3 mile away. I bet it's very scary on a dark, stormy night.

I call this one "Portrait of a Stank-Ass City Dump Hill at Seventy Miles Per Hour".

It's an original. And it does stink in the summer.

Nobody can barbeque chicken like me. A little Sweet Baby Ray's sauce and my own secret grilling technique makes for one helluva dinner.

A Portrait of the Young Man Deep in Thought.

I asked him what he was thinking about.

His response? "Poop."

The boys standing tall. Our little one is catching up to his big brother.

We call it synergy.

There is a story behind this photo taken by my wife. If you wish to read the somewhat cool story, check out http://barefootadult.blogspot.com/ (the best blog on the net).

It's not summer until the pool is up. This is the birthday gift he got from Grandma last week (go back and check the photo out).

After a few days to warm that water up, we should be swimming within the next week.

Got this flier urging me not to miss the Argentina v. Brazil World Cup Qualifier clash on June 18th.

I got it in the mail on June 20th.

In the war on pain, these are our (blurry) weapons.

The oldest had a big-time fever yesterday. The youngest had teething issues today. Both were made much better by our friend Motrin.

They're building us a new library, right in the parking lot of the old one.

The baby boy decided he'd had enough sleep just before two this morning. So Daddy had enough sleep just before two this morning.

He only stayed up for about forty minutes, which is good. Because Daddy did not have enough sleep just before two this morning.

But he's cute, and any time with my baby is good time.

My wife sold her treadmill today. With this and the yard sale, she's becoming a regular small businesswoman.

Took this on our ride home from a Father's Day in Michigan. Part of the trip involves driving down a long country road that I love. These clouds were guiding us home.

We held our first ever garage sale today. I won't say how much moolah we brought in, but we did make a profit.

My Father's Day gift the boys made for me at daycare.

Technically I haven't opened it yet, nor will he tell me what it is. But I love it.

Grandma dropped off the boy's birthday gift to my wife at work today. His birthday isn't for a little while, but you don't want to wait too long to put up a pool'.

My son loves to swim, or as he calls it "pooling", and this will replace the one he had that sprung many a leak.

Our two boys just chillin' out waiting for dinner. Note the chubby feet and distinctive lack of wrists on that beautiful baby boy.

A beautiful day at the park. It's about a ten minute walk from our house, and my big boy and I travel there almost nightly in the summertime.

After some time on the swings and the slides, my boy likes to play in the sand, sometimes even singing he's so happy.

And of course, you know it's a good park when there are twice as many people playing soccer on a nightly basis than playing softball, baseball, basketball, and tennis combined.

We love our little park.

Today I joined a gym. Time to get my fat ass back into shape, as it's been seven years since I last worked out.

Took the boys to visit my dad. Very hard to explain death to a three year old.

Didn't even try to explain why my mother's name is also on the tombstone.

The result of that trip to the barber.
Handsome young lad with a freshly shorn head.

#153

Due to bad batteries, no picture taken Friday. But two from Saturday. First, took the boy to our barber shop. A good ole fashioned barber shop where the barber knows your name and hair style. The talk centers on politics or sports or what Johnny's doing now that he retired or who died this week. The decor is straight out of the seventies. No fooling, the soda machine still has a can proclaiming the exciting new sweet taste of Diet Pepsi with Nutrasweet.
The bathroom? Dirtier than the dirtiest toilet in Scotland.
I love it. Been going for over a decade.

Sorry so late. Batteries went bad on camera. Let's play catch-up!
This is Thursday. Our baby boy got his first bruise on Thursday at daycare, banging his head against the bottom of a crib. You can't see it very well here, but it's on your left (his right) on the temple.
Cue phonecalls from grandparents.

Euro 2008 begins Saturday, and I got my preview today to prepare.
Thanks to the good folks at the ESPN family of channels, for the first time in America, every game will be televised live. So I'll be watching every game live and enjoying the second biggest sporting event on the planet, next to the World Cup.

Boys will always be boys.

And few things are more fun than a mud puddle to a boy.

Sorry for skipping Monday. I just plain forgot. But this puddle left from the rain would work yesterday or today.

The wife and I went to the picture show today for the first time in ten months.

Guess what we saw.

A good time was had by all.
