Monday was all about rehydrating after a nasty little stomach bug took everything out of me yesterday.

Sunday we got a new water heater installed.

It's nice not to have to light the pilot light every two hours like I had been doing for four days.

Better late than never.

Here's my peeps on Saturday.

Our baby boy moved into his crib last night, too big for the bassinet that served him well.

Check this out. March 27th. One week into Spring. Thirty degrees and snow.
I hate winter.

This was taken from our library parking lot. I love that barn and always smile upon seeing it when we arrive.

I'm a sucker for a beautiful rustic barn and acres of open fields.

My unreasonable wife made me toss out this comfy beloved sock just because it had those two tiny holes on the bottom. Her prejudice blinded her from seeing how it made my feet feel free even when they weren't.

This is my Tuesday photo. Didn't get a chance to post it yesterday.

You've got to have Polish Sausage, baby!

Tuckered out after a long day of travel, egg hunting, and candy eating, the boy falls asleep in the chair minutes after getting back home.

You can't really see the falling snow, but it's there.

This is the second day of Spring. First day we had fifty degrees and sunshine. Second day we get in the thirties, windy, and snow.

Is Mother Nature playing a trick on us, or has she lost her calendar?

Here's an idea: how's about you just send me the check, and save yourself the time and money wasted on sending me a notice that you'll be sending me the check.

Is there a better example of government waste in the last few years than these letters?

The beautiful boy in that photo made this great Easter flower for me at daycare.

I love being a daddy.

This is my trusted pricing gun. See, Michigan has this stupid law that all items must be marked with a price tag IN ADDITION to the tag on the shelf, telling you how much it costs. So every Monday and Thursday I head into Michigan and get the joyful experience of pricing everything I stock. It should be noted that Michigan is the ONLY state that has this law.

It should also be noted that it's a bitch trying to get a tag to stick to a frozen container of ice cream.

Jude has expressed an interest in learning his alphabet. So we've hung this up in the living room to further his education.

This bag of popcorn from the local cinema is one of the greatest gifts I've ever gotten.

See, my wife knows how much I love popcorn, especially buttered popcorn from the movie house. With a new baby last October, jobs, holidays, winter weather, and other factors common in life, we just haven't been able to get out to the movies since last August.

So today, while out-and-about with her mother, my wonderful wife stopped at the theater and bought me this bag of popcorn.

I love that woman.

Sing it with me!

M-I-C-K-E-Y

P-I-Z-Z-A!

My boy had to have this for dinner. I swear when it gets really nice and warm out again, my photos will be more exciting and less food.

The makings of a good "alone time" activity.
(I apologize to those offended by the adult nature of this post; I just thought it would make my beautiful wife laugh).

Today was a big day. Our baby boy Sullivan was baptized. This is the church, where his brother was also baptized, and where my beautiful wife and I were married.

This is inside the church. Not very big, but beautiful.

The proud parents being bedazzled by the paparazzi. Actually, it was just three sets of grandparents with cameras. But nobody directed the chaos, so we are all looking at a different grandparent. Plus, Jude watches on in the background.
A great day was had by all, and our little guy dazzled the crowd.

This is a rare treat indeed. Rare not just to catch our cat Winnie on camera, but even more rare because she's actually awake. That only happens about three hours a day.

I'm only a year behind in my pop culture viewing.

They were able to write and film a parody of this before I even watched it.

The white crap is melting. Not soon enough. I know winter isn't done yet, but it still makes me smile to see it melting. This is the same driveway entrance that had a two-foot-high wall of snow completely blocking it Friday when I got home from work thanks to the local plows.
